LAUREN B. HRAGYIL, RN
Lauren Bebout Hragyil graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Central Alabama Community College in 2006. While in nursing school Lauren worked in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Russell Medical Center as a monitor technician. During her employment in the Cath Lab at Russell Medical Center she learned a lot about Cardiology and the anatomy of the heart and vascular system. Lauren is now a full-time registered nurse at Cardiology of Central Alabama and has several job responsiblities.
In her role as a registered nurse she acts as an advocate for patients rights and she strives to understand a patient’s needs and concerns. Lauren is personable with a positive attitude and she interfaces well with patients, families, and other staff. Lauren is responsible for scheduling procedures, such as, Heart Catheterizations, Peripheral Cases, Implantable Devices, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Cardioversions. She educates patients and their families on disease processes, procedures and medications. Lauren also assists in starting IV’s, medication administration, and is BLS Certified.
Lauren grew up in Alexander City, Alabama, but now resides with her husband, Anthony, and two children, Kaden (3) and Brock (1) in Wetumpka, Alabama. She and her family attend Grace Baptist Church in Wetumpka, Alabama. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and being outdoors.
